Summary:
Do you know that mushrooms don’t just grow in the forest? The diversity of life strategies and requirements of different fungi species means that they are found in a wide range of habitats, not just forests. We encounter fungi in many places in our daily lives, both indoors and outdoors. Grab your magnifying glass and come and observe them! Participants have the chance to meet microscopic fungi growing under laboratory conditions and examine them more closely.
In addition, students will have the opportunity to try their hand at Microbial Art, and they can submit their artwork to the competition. Photos of the best ones will be posted at www.dnaday.sk.
